Hemmings Sunday Cinema – Ferrari on Ferrari, the first turbine Chrysler, Dying to be a Hero

enzo_1000

Dating to 1984, this 25-minute interview with Enzo Ferrari is probably the best such interview put down on video and the best account of Ferrari from Ferrari himself.

* Chrysler didn’t just whip up the Turbine cars in 1964 out of nowhere. The company’s turbine program dated back years before that, as we see from this 1955 introduction of that year’s turbine-powered Chrysler experimental car, as posted recently by Mac’s Motor City Garage.

* We’ll take a break from the Russian car chase scenes this week for the brilliant chase scene from a 2000 New Zealand independent flick, “Dying to be a Hero.” Believe us, it’s worth it.
