1962 Cadillac Series 62 coupe for sale on Hemmings.com. From the seller’s description:
equipped with the correct 390 V8 Engine, Automatic Transmission, Power Steering and Power Brakes. The correct Sage Paint ( 32-correct paint code) is beautiful and shines at any angle with much depth and gloss. In person, it looks great and is consistent with a very clean respectable driver quality classic automobile. No perfect, just a clean turn key driver. The undercarriage is very original, solid, and straight. A thin layer of undercoat is present which is consistent with a factory application. It was a Northeast car which is common, and preserved the car as it was designed to do. No rot or patch panels. Bumpers, as well as all of the other chrome or stainless, still show very well. Trunk pan is solid and original. The car is virtually a survivor with only one repaint in the early 2000’s.
It rides, drives, and handles like a dream; straight down the road with no shimmies, shakes, or vibrations. Extremely tight and a pleasure to drive. Very easy to maneuver with power steering and brakes. I would not hesitate to get behind the wheel of this car with my family and drive it anywhere! The Cadillac has a great fit & finish with everything lining up very well; doors, trunk, hood, etc. The doors have that distinct sound as you close them. You car guys know what I’m talking about! All of the lights, turn signals, brakes, gauges, windows, are functioning properly. Even the power antenna works with the original radio! Engine fires right up with no smoking, And has a fantastic rumble with Dual Exhaust. Car has just been serviced and ready to drive anywhere. New Belts, hoses, plugs, oil and filter change. The Sage Interior is original, and shows extremely well. No rips or tears in the seats, and still have good foam. You sit on the seat, not in the seat! Carpet was replaced a few years ago. All of the weather strips, felts, gaskets, rubbers, etc show as a higher end driver quality car should. All windows roll up and down effortlessly like a new car! This model did not have power windows or seat, so it’s less maintenance which is ideal for a classic car like this!
