From the seller’s description:
1937 GMC Open Touring Bus, 6 cylinder, Oldsmobile engine. Seats 15- 20 passengers. Been in storage under cover since 2005.
At that time, it had new tires, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, wheel bearings, emergency brake cable, top, seat cushions,
heavy floor mats. Wood and metal body. It has side curtains. It has been determined that the engine is not frozen.
The bus is located in southeastern MA. It is believed that the vehicle was used on Martha’s Vineyard for island touring purposes.
It was purchased in the early 70’s, I believe, by my father. It was used periodically for weddings, parades, or
just a run-about with friends and has provided many with lots of fun! Asking $8,000. and will be sold “as is”.
I have been in touch with someone who drove the bus in the Fall of 2005; he is willing to share information about the bus
with anyone who might be interested in purchasing it.
